Master Your IBS: An 8-Week Program to Control the Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome

This eight-week program shows your patients, step by step, how to reduce the severity and frequency of their IBS symptoms, without special diets, drugs or equipment. The program teaches skill-building exercises that will help them develop relaxation techniques and healthy thought patterns and new approaches to their diet while identifying trigger foods.

With specific symptom tracking strategies and by using the journals and worksheets included in the book, your patients are encouraged to practice each strategy, evaluate its effectiveness and then create their own unique plan to better manage their symptoms.

This book is based on a long-term research study conducted at the University of Washington School of Nursing.
