Lo mejor de la DDW 2018

April 17, 2018

Join us on June 5 in Washington, D.C., as part of AGA’s international program for DDW and gain practical, take home information in your own language.

Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) has become a magnet for gastroenterologists around the world and many of them come from Spanish-speaking countries. AGA incorporated, some years ago, the session “Lo mejor de la DDW en español” with the purpose of helping this international audience get the most out of these very busy four days.

“Lo mejor de la DDW en español” is a recap of the best abstracts presented during the meeting. AGA has selected presenters to review these abstracts and talk about their importance to the field. Five great experts in liver disease (Guadalupe García Tsao, MD), inflammatory bowel disease (María Abreu, MD, AGAF), celiac disease (Julio Bai, MD), microbiome (Elena Verdu, MD, PhD) and gastric disorders (Arnoldo Riquelme) will discuss, in a single Spanish-language session, practical and useful information that can be applied to everyday practice.

Marcia Cruz-Correa, MD, PhD, AGAF, (Professor of Medicine and Biochemistry University of Puerto Rico) and Edgardo Smecuol, MD, (Secretary Executive; Panamerican Organization of Gastroenterology) will chair this prominent and successful program, taking place Tuesday, June 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in room 151B.

Los esperamos!
