Course for APPs benefits all experience levels

April 16, 2018

AGA's popular course for advanced practice providers will take place Aug. 10 through 12 in Chicago, Illinois.

AGA's Principles of GI for the NP and PA offers a comprehensive program that focuses on best practices in evidence-based medicine within a team-based GI model. The course provides advanced practice providers (APPs) with an opportunity to develop and enhance their diagnostic and therapeutic skill sets to help improve overall patient care.

Our expert faculty of physicians and APPs will address topics such as:

  • Strategies for managing Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, including the role of biosimilar therapies.
  • Complications stemming from pancreatitis.
  • Discussing nutrition with GI patients.
  • The latest treatment strategies for hepatitis C.

APPs new to the field, as well as those with years of experience, will find the course offers something for all who attend. To learn more and register, visit the course website.
