Deadline, Eligibility Extended for RSA in GERD

This $120,000 grant is designated specifically for junior faculty who are interested in GERD and Barrett's esophagus. The award is intended to ensure protected time for relevant research, but unlike similar awards, a 70 percent research commitment is not required.

The AGA Research Foundation announces two important changes to the AGA-Takeda Research Scholar Award in GERD and Barrett’s Esophagus:

  1. Veterans Affairs career development and NIH K series award recipients may now apply.
  2. The application deadline has been extended to July 27, 2012.

This award is a $120,000 grant designated specifically for junior faculty who are interested in GERD and Barrett's esophagus. The award is intended to ensure protected time for relevant research, but unlike similar awards, a 70 percent research commitment is not required.
